Our tools combine original prompts with factual lists. Each generator states its pool size and scope. Where an entry has its own source, the result card links directly to it; otherwise the generator and this page describe the collection source. Source snapshots were checked in November 2026 unless a page names a different year. The data can change, so check the linked owner for current decisions.
Places and science
- United Nations membership and observer status, plus ISO 3166-1 country and area codes. Other ISO areas are identified separately from UN members and observers.
- City names and coordinates come from GeoNames and its contributors under CC BY 4.0. The pool is an editorial selection, not every municipality. Airport names, codes, country, and scheduled-service flags come from the OurAirports public-domain data snapshot of 2 November 2026; the flag is not a live flight-status check.
- U.S. Census states and 2020 ZIP Code Tabulation Areas. A ZCTA is a statistical area, not confirmation of a deliverable postal ZIP Code.
- U.S. National Park Service parks and campground listings. Campground status and booking rules need checking with the park.
- New South Wales Spatial Services camping-ground points. Coverage is New South Wales only. © State of New South Wales (Spatial Services), used under CC BY 3.0 AU.
- Parks Canada open data camping locations, used under the Open Government Licence – Canada. Coverage is Parks Canada sites only.
- IUPAC elements, NASA planets, and Natural History Museum dinosaur names.
People, education and food
- U.S. Social Security Administration 2025 baby names, U.S. Census 2020 surnames, and NCES IPEDS 2024–25 institutions.
- O*NET occupation titles, MedlinePlus, U.S. National Library of Medicine condition names, and USDA FoodData Central energy values per 100 grams. Health and food data are reference material, not individual advice.
- Unicode CLDR English language labels. Unicode, Inc. copyright and license are reproduced in the Unicode License v3 notice.
Culture, business and images
- Books and entertainment title banks use factual names from identified catalogues, including Project Gutenberg and official film or broadcaster pages. Selection does not imply current streaming availability.
- Open Brewery DB brewery directory, credited under its MIT license. Directory entries are not verified current businesses.
- Wikidata CC0 names and entities, including the dated selections for flags, anime, television shows, video games, islands, and artists. Each generator's guide describes the scope of its selection. The 2026 Fortune/Great Place To Work published company ranking and ISO 4217 via SIX currencies are also used. Rankings are dated third-party lists.
- The picture tool uses 160 locally hosted images from Wikimedia Commons with individual image-source and public-domain/CC0 links. We do not reuse competitor images.
